Introducing Groundbreaker

Groundbreaker Solutions was founded in 2024 by Jason L. Lind (Chief Architect) and Mitchell B. Maddox (Chief Financial Officer) as a home for Jason's custom software development practice with the United States Space Force as our first client. Registered on SAM.gov with an active CAGE code we provide disruptive solutions to our select clients.

From June 2024 to, the time program was suspended, October 2025 Groundbreaker Solutions completed a number of Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant proposals which generated immense positive feedback, however did not result any awards. Jack R. Driscoll joined in early 2025 as our Chief Engineer.

Notably Jack and Jason collaborated on a DARPA SBIR, "AI-Driven Spectrum Monitoring and Awareness for Tactical Units" which - while not selected by DARPA - found a second life with with the Duke Design Defense Studio where we collaborated with Defense Fellows, Reserve and National Guardists studying at Duke, to apply our theory to a prototype Electronic Warfare device.

A previous effort of Jason's and Mitch's, MultiPlex.studio, is now wholly owned by Groundbreaker Solutions and stands as our think tank for our more ambitious efforts.
